The back bone of the organisation is our area branches who work so hard on the ground on behalf of the organisation. These branches are made up of members of all ages who are very dedicated to ensure that the people of North Tipperary are constantly reminded of the vital work the organisation delivers on the ground providing support and information to all people and their family members who are trying to cope with a life limiting illness. All our services in our cancer care centres and our home care services are provided free of charge and to continue this work each area branch set about ensuring that the funds are collected. Activities are organised all year round and events such as Golf Classic, Walks, Coffee mornings, Dances, Swimming events, Quizzes, Fashion shows, Tractor Runs, Garden parties, Barbeques, Mountain climbing, Raffles, Cookery demonstrations and cookery books etc. The list goes on and on and it never ceases to amaze us of the creativity and enthusiasm of many individuals and community groups who give their time to volunteer and organise many outstanding events on behalf of North Tipperary Hospice.
