London Olympic Marathon
On March 7th Nengh man Gerard Keaty will run a marathon on the original 1908 London Olympic Games Marathon course, which was won all those years ago by Johnny Hayes whose parents hailed from Nenagh. This is a rare chance to run on this actual course and Gerard wanted to use the opportunity to raise some funds for the North Tipperary Hospice. He has chosen to support hospice services in recognition of the palliative care his own father received at the end of his life in 2020. All donations would be welcomed by North Tipperary Hospice

Nenaagh Macra Calf Fundraiser
Nenagh Macra na Feirme is organising a special fundraising initiative for North Tipperary Hospice, calling on farmers across the region to donate calves for auction. The donated calves will be sold at a special sale in Nenagh mart on March 24th at 11am with all proceeds going to support the vital services provided by North Tipp Hospice. This community-driven effort brings together the farming community to make a meaningful difference for families who rely on hospice care. Farmers interested in donating a calf can contact their local Macra club or the organiing committee for details on how to participate.
